BAZ: Where the Kitchen, the Bar and the Music Share the Same Pulse
BAZ brings food, cocktails and music into one shared space. An audio bistro bar shaped by movement, open-kitchen energy and a tightly tuned service rhythm. Take a look inside.

BAZ is one of Lisbon’s new audio resto-bars, a hybrid space that moves between dinner service, craft cocktails and late-night DJ sets. The concept is built around an open kitchen with no physical separation from the bar, keeping the experience fluid and letting guests follow the energy of the room as it shifts through the night.
The food menu stays concise and seasonal and the cocktail program mixes house signatures with classics, paired with a warm, low-light environment tuned for both service and sound.
XXXI Studio shaped the interior around a sculptural central bar that acts as the anchor of the room. The bar flows through the space rather than sitting as a straight line, encouraging guests to gather, move and orbit around it. Soft forms, warm materials and open sightlines support the idea of a kitchen without walls, with clear views to both the chef and the DJ. Sound is a core part of the concept, so the spatial layout and acoustics were planned to support a focused listening environment later in the evening.
