Elem is a restaurant and cocktail lab located in Vancouver’s Mount Pleasant. The concept is inspired by the four elements: earth, water, fire, and air, reflected throughout both the food and beverage programs.
Led by Chef Vish Mayekar, the kitchen brings together international influences from Thailand to Mumbai while staying grounded in local, sustainable ingredients. On the bar side, Partner and Beverage Director Winnie Suns applies a zero-waste philosophy, transforming often-overlooked ingredients into complex, element-driven cocktails.
Designed by Simcic + Uhrich Architects, the space features an open kitchen and a variety of dining areas that encourage connection and flow. Behind Bars delivered Paloma, our flush kitchen-style bar system, designed to integrate seamlessly into the workflow.
